A Dental Dynasty in the Making

Jacksonville, FL (BlackNews.com) - In the 21st century when many African American families have lost their identity and relationship with their parents, children and grandparents, Dr. Leroy R. Polite and his wife of 40 years, Helen Poe Polite, have spent their lives working hard to maintain family ties and much more. The Polites formed a bond "on the hill" at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Leroy earned a degree in Pharmacy and later a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Helen earned a Nursing degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and a degree in Health Education from Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida.
